If I do it, it's ok. If you do it, it's not ok.

Below are two news report, both from news outlet respected in the United States and elsewhere with a wide following. Hypocrisy or double standards at its best.

'The National Security Agency (NSA) has implanted software in nearly 100,000 computers around the world that allows the United States to conduct surveillance on those machines and can also create a digital highway for launching cyberattacks. The N.S.A. has increasingly made use of a secret technology that enables it to enter and alter data in computers even if they are not connected to the Internet. Among the most frequent targets of the N.S.A.  have been units of the Chinese Army, which the United States has accused of launching regular digital probes and attacks on American industrial and military targets, usually to steal secrets or intellectual property.'

'Trump's commitment to keeping the nation's networks secure from foreign adversaries and using Huawei's gear could offer the Chinese government a way to spy on sensitive US communications.'
