The economic cost of burnout — from the long hours in the situational room or from having to replace those who leave the profession — could be a serious issue facing the industry.
It might not be a serious issue but if it occurs, the economic costs to organisations - direct and indirect - could be as damaging as the organisation suffering a data breach.
Thus, should organisations starts looking at and provides an economic incentive and invest in alleviating burnout?
