Approximately only 50% of the world's total population is now online.

What happens if the remaining 50% comes online?

As our heading said, what happens if the remaining population of the world comes online?

When this 'revolution' will begin?

The remaining 50% will mainly be from Asian and African countries. What and how this 'revolution' will impact prevailing cyber risks? Obviously with more people online, it will only increase the 'attractiveness' for cyber criminals.

With more 'attack surface' arising from increased introduction of IoT devices and an increase in number of users, organisations and regulators and law enforcers will have a hard time keeping up.
